Job Description As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Mount Vernon, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic automotive location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, support access activities, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access expectations, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing and/or distribution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts according to post instructions. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the outer perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as directed, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel. Support vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow during shift changes, deliveries, and visitor arrivals while maintaining awareness of site activity and following Allied Universal post orders.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
