Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic security team as a Security Guard, where your vigilance and proactive approach will ensure the safety and protection of our facilities, staff, and visitors. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment through active surveillance, incident prevention, and emergency response. You will be the first line of defense, embodying professionalism and alertness at all times to uphold our commitment to safety. Whether patrolling premises, monitoring security systems, or managing access points, your energetic presence will help foster a safe and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
Duties Patrol & Surveillance:
Conduct regular foot or mobile patrols of the interior and exterior premises (including parking structures, entry points, and restricted zones).
Access Control:
Monitor building entrances, verify employee and visitor credentials, manage visitor sign-in logs, and prevent unauthorized entry.
Incident Response:
Investigate alarms, disturbances, or suspicious behavior. Act as a first responder during onsite emergencies (fires, medical crises, or property damage) and coordinate directly with local law enforcement or emergency services.
De-escalation & Customer Service:
Assist visitors with directions and facility inquiries while professionally de-escalating conflicts or verbal disputes using calm communication techniques.
Reporting:
Maintain accurate daily logs of activities and draft detailed, professional incident reports when security breaches or accidents occur
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
