Job Description As a Security Officer Warehouse Security Officer in University Park, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support smooth site operations through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and personnel by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and supporting approved entry and exit activity at the location. Monitor access points, visitor logs, and delivery activity to help support security-related procedures for a busy logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or policy concerns, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
