Overview:
The Campus Safety staff is responsible to ensure the safety and security of the staff and students in the high schools. Reports to: Campus Safety Supervisor Assistant Principal for Operations
Employee Status:
Educational Support Professional - Campus Safety ESP Bargaining Union
Calendar:
184 Teacher Attendance Days, 7:30am - 4:00pm
Qualifications:
Education and experience equivalent to high school graduation
Professional/Personal Characteristics:
Previous experience in an educational setting preferred Excellent organizational skills and time management skills Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently under varying deadlines Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to identify sensitive information and maintain confidentiality Proficient with Google G-Suite, office and phone equipment
Job Responsibilities:
Monitor the safety and security of the students in the building and on campus Implements school safety and security activities Ensures that school policies and procedures are followed Assists with the monitoring of student movement and behavior throughout the school day Assists with the control of disruptive students and teams with appropriate school personnel about student behavior and behavior related issues Escorts and assists students to assigned areas Works with first responders in regard to security and safety
