Job Description As a Security Officer Industrial Dispatch Driver in Carmel, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a critical utilities location, you will coordinate communications, monitor access activity and alarms, and help facilitate timely responses to security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service, maintain clear documentation, and support a reliable operation through teamwork and integrity. This driving position offers the opportunity to contribute to an agile, caring, and innovative Allied Universal team.

PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor dispatch communications, alarms, access activity, and operational notifications; document and promptly report unusual conditions or incidents according to established procedures. Respond to incidents, critical situations, and service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned facilities, operational areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift communications while supporting continuity of operations at a critical utility location.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Possess 5 years of industrial security-related experience or 2 years of military, law enforcement, EMT, or fire department service. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
