- Guaranteed 40 Hours Per Week + Significant Overtime Opportunities Position Overview We are seeking an experienced
- Security Superintendent
- to oversee field operations on large-scale commercial security projects.
- Manage day-to-day field operations for commercial security and low-voltage projects.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Security Project Leads and field technicians.
- Coordinate manpower, scheduling, project milestones, and installation activities.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of:
- Access Control Systems
- CCTV / Video Surveillance Systems
- Alarm & Intrusion Detection Systems
- Integrated Security Technologies
- Ensure work is completed according to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
- Conduct field inspections and quality assurance reviews.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide guidance to installation teams.
- Maintain compliance with company safety procedures and industry best practices.
- Track project progress and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
- Communicate effectively with project management, customers, subcontractors, and field personnel.
- Support customer system acceptance, turnover, and project closeout activities. Required Qualifications
- 7-10 years of experience in commercial security system installation and leadership.
- Extensive experience with:
- Access Control Systems
- Alarm / Intrusion Detection Systems
- CCTV & Video Surveillance Systems
- Commercial Security System Deployments
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience managing technicians and field crews.
- Strong knowledge of low-voltage cabling and wiring practices.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects, crews, and deadlines.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience commissioning and testing complex security systems.
- Ability to train, mentor, and develop field personnel.
- OSHA safety knowledge and experience working on active construction sites.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project documentation software.
- Security industry certifications and manufacturer certifications are highly preferred. Work Environment
- Commercial and industrial construction job sites.
- Hands-on leadership role requiring regular field presence.
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing ladders, and lifting equipment.
- Guaranteed 40-hour workweek with significant overtime opportunities.
- Occasional Saturday work based on project demands.
- Travel required for onboarding and training (6-12 weeks).
