Duties Guard Shack, Monitor and control access points using security systems and manual checks to ensure only authorized personnel enter the premises Conduct regular patrols of the property, including buildings, parking areas, and perimeter fences, to identify potential security breaches or hazards Utilize surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior Respond promptly to emergency situations by following established procedures for fire, medical incidents, or security threats Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities for future reference Perform background checks on visitors or contractors when necessary to verify identity and authorization Enforce compliance with security regulations and company policies through effective conflict management and conflict de-escalation techniques Skills Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and access control technologies Background in military service or law enforcement is highly advantageous for understanding security protocols and emergency response procedures Certified in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use (if applicable) to handle medical emergencies confidently Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when required for equipment or incident response Excellent incident report writing skills with attention to detail and clarity Knowledge of physical security measures such as patrolling routines and perimeter checks Effective communication skills for customer service interactions and collaboration with emergency responders Familiarity with fire safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and compliance standards in security operations Join us in creating a safe environment where everyone can thrive!
