This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment through comprehensive surveillance, incident management, and enforcing security protocols. As a Security Sentinel, you will be at the forefront of protecting our organization by performing patrols, managing access control systems, and responding swiftly to emergencies. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure physical security measures are upheld. Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras and monitor live feeds to detect potential security breaches or safety hazards. Manage access control systems to authorize entry for employees, and visitors, verifying identification and credentials and sobriety. Respond promptly to emergency situations by implementing emergency response procedures. Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other anomalies with clarity and accuracy. Perform background checks on visitors and new program applicants as part of the screening process to ensure compliance with security policies. Utilize conflict management and de-escalation techniques to handle disputes or disruptive behavior professionally and effectively. Qualifications Proven experience in security roles and related fields demonstrating strong surveillance skills and physical security knowledge. Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control systems, incident report writing, and loss prevention strategies. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse individuals. Strong understanding of emergency response procedures, conflict de-escalation techniques, and compliance with security regulations.
