Job Description

Securitas seeks a Manufacturing Facility Security Officer to protect people, property, and assets in an industrial environment. In this role, you will manage access control, conduct patrols of production, warehouse, and loading areas, and monitor cameras and alarms to deter theft, vandalism, and safety risks. You will enforce site security and safety policies, respond to incidents and emergencies, and document all activity in clear reports. Officers receive structured training, opportunities for certification, and paths to advance into lead and supervisory roles while working in a mission-driven, safety-focused culture. Responsibilities Control access to the manufacturing facility, verifying employees, contractors, and visitors Conduct interior and exterior patrols to deter theft, vandalism, and safety hazards Monitor cameras, alarms, and security systems, responding to alerts and incidents Enforce site safety and security policies, including badge and entry procedures Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in detailed reports Assist with emergency response, evacuations, and coordination with public safety Provide professional, customer-focused assistance to employees and visitors Support inspections of docks, loading areas, and high-value storage zones Participate in ongoing security, safety, and emergency-preparedness training Collaborate with supervisors and client representatives on risk and incident trends Required Skills Access control procedures CCTV and alarm monitoring Incident reporting and documentation Patrol techniques in industrial settings Emergency response and evacuation Customer service in security roles Conflict de-escalation Radio and security communication protocols Basic computer proficiency for logs and reports Knowledge of safety and OSHA-related site rules
