Boyce, Louisiana, (Rapides Parish)Pay:
$17.00 per hourSchedule:
Full-time, Part-time, and/or flexible scheduling. Days, nights, weekends, and events available. Site requires 24/7 coverage — must be able to work split shifts or long hours as needed.What You'll Do:
Conduct active patrols of assigned properties by foot and/or vehicle. Provide security presence and crowd management support at scheduled events, as assigned. Remain alert and engaged throughout the entire shift—not distracted by personal phones, sleeping, or avoiding assigned duties. Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, surveillance systems, and designated access points. Verify and control access for visitors, employees, vendors, contractors, and event attendees as required by client post orders. Maintain a visible, professional security presence that deters theft, trespassing, vandalism, and unsafe behavior. Respond ly and professionally to alarms, disturbances, suspicious activity, emergencies, and client concerns. Assist with event setup/breakdown logistics as needed for assigned event posts. Observe, document, and immediately report hazards, incidents, policy violations, and security concerns. Complete accurate, detailed, and timely daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs. Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients, visitors, employees, event coordinators, law enforcement, dispatch, and company leadership. Follow all company policies, client post orders, and applicable laws at all times. - Stays calm under pressure and knows when to escalate an issue. ✔ Tech-Comfortable
- Comfortable using a smartphone, reporting app, radio, and basic computer systems.
- Preferred but
Not Required:
Prior security, military, law-enforcement, event staffing, customer-service, or hospitality experience is a plus.Minimum Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED preferred. Must pass a background check and drug screening, if required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required for mobile patrol positions. Must have, or be willing to obtain, required Louisiana security-officer credentials. Physical Endurance- Able to stand, walk, patrol, and remain alert for extended periods, including during high-energy or high-volume event settings.
