AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate access-control records. Screen vehicles, deliveries, and contractor access in accordance with site procedures, escalating discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and emergency protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security supervisor/manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience is required. Access control/badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
