PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical facility by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and communicating access concerns to appropriate site personnel. Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Maintain accurate logs, reports, and shift communications related to access activity, incidents, and site-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Possess at least one year of law enforcement experience, two years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or three years of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
