GREAT OPPORTUNITY
for an Experienced Level Monitoring Technician that wants to promote to a Lead Technician. The Lead Technician position is an opportunity to take that next step for developing your own career with amenities such as, great pay, quarterly bonuses, 401K match, upward mobility, PTO and great benefits that kick in the following month you start. We are looking to start this position at $22/hr.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Carbon Canister Inspection and Change Out Centrifuge Carbon Can Inspection and Change Out Visual Drain Inspections Visual Above Ground Sewer Line Inspection FLIR Camera Inspection Benzene Fenceline Samples Weekly Hazardous Waste Inspection Roll Off Box NDE Carbon Can NDE Cooling Tower Samples Miscellaneous Samples from Frac Tanks, Roll Off Boxes etc. Hazardous Waste Spill Clean Up Move and Organize Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Drums Escort Vehicles as needed Monthly Hazardous Waste Inspection (Aerosol Cans, Oily Rags, Satellite Accumulation) Quarterly Hazardous Waste Accumulation (Used Batteries) Line Roll Off Boxes Confined Space Work as needed Storm Water Run Off Inspection Various NDE Inspections Labeling Hazardous and Non-hazardous
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

High School Diploma or GED Technician:
Entry level position
Lead Technician:
Minimum of 12 months of experience as a technician Must pass M21 Testing Requirements and remain current in M21 annual testing and safety training
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Outdoor work in petroleum refinery or chemical processing facility walking and standing for prolonged periods of time. Adverse weather conditions (extreme hot/cold and inclement weather.) May be required to carry a testing device, data logger, hand tools and miscellaneous equipment that weigh about 30 lbs. The testing devices are carried in a backpack. Other tools and equipment are carried on a tool belt or in pockets. The work involves ascending stairs, climbing vertical ladders, and working from elevated heights (sometimes with personal fall protection equipment) while wearing equipment described above. All outdoor work is performed wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), which includes a hardhat, fire retardant coveralls, safety glasses, hearing protection, safety boots and when required, a 5- point safety harness.
