PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Assist with access control activities by monitoring entrances, checking identification when required, and reporting unauthorized persons and/or suspicious behavior. Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in detailed reports, and communicate relevant information with supervisors, staff, and/or first responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Hospital vaccinations are required. The ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
