Schedule:

Full-time and part-time opportunities available 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts Rotating weekends and holidays required

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED/HiSet required Valid driver's license required Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred:

Experience in security, healthcare, law enforcement, military, or related field Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field

Job Summary:

The Security Officer protects patients, staff, visitors, and hospital property. Responsibilities include patrol, emergency response, access control, and customer service throughout the medical center.

Key Responsibilities:

Patrol hospital buildings and grounds to prevent unauthorized access and safety hazards Monitor cameras and respond to alarms and emergency codes Enforce access control and issue visitor badges Respond to incidents and assist with de-escalation of disruptive situations Provide escorts for patients, visitors, and staff Assist with traffic control and emergency situations Complete incident reports and conduct preliminary investigations
