What You'll Do As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will help maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment throughout the assigned facility.

Responsibilities may include:

Maintain a professional and visible security presence Conduct interior and exterior security patrols Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas Assist with access control for employees, patients, visitors, and vendors Respond to security incidents, disturbances, alarms, and emergencies Use professional communication and de-escalation techniques during challenging situations Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and policy violations Assist employees, patients, and visitors with security-related concerns Support emergency response and established safety procedures Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs Communicate incidents and concerns to appropriate personnel Follow established post orders, policies, and security procedures Provide professional customer service while maintaining strong security awareness What We're Looking For Successful candidates should be: Professional, dependable, and safety-focused Comfortable working in a healthcare environment Comfortable interacting with patients, visitors, employees, and the public Able to remain calm during stressful or emotionally charged situations Strong verbal and written communicators Able to exercise sound judgment and professionalism Capable of completing accurate reports and documentation Able to work independently and as part of a security team Able to meet all applicable licensing, background, and pre-employment requirements Work Environment & Schedule This is a Full-Time Security Officer position in a healthcare environment.
