Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Building Patrol in Bethesda, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide welcoming customer service, communicate clearly with guests and team members, and support access control and alarm response activities. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a hotel or resort location. Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, common spaces, parking areas, service corridors, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and observe conditions throughout the location, reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Prepare accurate activity and incident reports and communicate professionally with hotel staff, guests, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least two years of security-related experience. Must be 21 years of age or older Experience with alarm panels is preferred. Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
