Duties Conduct regular patrols of the premises to monitor for suspicious activity and ensure physical security measures are upheld Manage access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for authorized personnel, visitors, and vendors Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to monitor activity and identify potential security threats Respond swiftly to incidents by writing detailed reports, managing conflicts through de-escalation techniques, and coordinating with law enforcement when necessary Perform background checks on new employees or visitors as part of security screening procedures Execute emergency response procedures including fire safety, AED operation, CPR, Taser deployment, and first aid to handle medical or security emergencies effectively Handle physical security tasks such as heavy lifting, manual handling of equipment or materials, and maintaining secure perimeters Skills Proven experience in surveillance operations and physical security protocols Background in military service or law enforcement with knowledge of firearm handling and conflict management Strong understanding of incident report writing and compliance with security regulations Proficiency with access control systems, CCTV monitoring, and emergency response procedures Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict de-escalation abilities to manage tense situations professionally Ability to perform background checks accurately and efficiently as part of screening processes Physical fitness to perform patrolling duties, heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and respond swiftly in emergencies Certifications in CPR, First Aid, AED operation, Taser use, and fire safety are highly desirable This position is vital for maintaining a safe environment through vigilant observation, quick decision-making, and adherence to all security standards.
