Security Officer - MD Guard Card Required Security Officer (Unarmed)

Cumberland, MD Pay Rate:
$19.00 per hour We are currently seeking professional, reliable, and detail-oriented Security Officers to join our team at a well-maintained, highly regulated commercial facility in Cumberland, Maryland. Applicants MUST possess and maintain a valid MD Guard Card Candidates without a current guard card will NOT be considered
Available Shifts:
Monday-Friday | 2:00pm to 11:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets Monitor premises through patrols and surveillance systems Control access points and verify credentials as required Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports Provide professional customer service while enforcing site policies Operate and navigate security-related technology and systems
Qualifications:
Active Maryland Guard Card (REQUIRED) Prior security experience highly preferred Experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills Professional demeanor and appearance CPR / First Aid certification preferred Must be tech-savvy and able to learn new systems quickly Valid driver's license preferred Reliable transportation required Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
