Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Manuals; and/orDOD 5205.07
Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals. Must be team-oriented with an ability to still work independently and multi-task and have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a CSSO, FSO, or as a PSR. Must have excellent communication skills to include verbal and written, as well as tact and diplomacy being key. While mission support is primary Monday- Friday (9/80 work week) mission requirements may require after hour response and possible weekend work.

This position is located in Hanover, MD. As a Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO) at Lockheed Martin, you'll safeguard the Sensitive Compartmented Information and warfighting capabilities our citizens and the world depend upon to protect U.S. and global interests. Here, you'll work alongside other security experts, government civilians and military members to support their military operational objectives by providing them with a safe and secure operating environment. In this fast-paced, real-world environment, you'll draw on all your experience and education as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep these exquisite capabilities and intelligence protected. The selected candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day site security operations including but not limited to:- Acting in the capacity of a Contractor Special Security Officer and Assistant Facility Security Officer.
- Administrative Security functions, organizing and filing all administrative program security paperwork to remain Inspection Ready and compliant with USG regulations.
- Conduct self-inspections; manage preparations for and representation of security inspections and audits by government security personnel.
- Assist the Security Team with additional security support as required by the RMS Advanced Programs Manager and the local Customer.
- Administering the SCI Nomination Process by processing, logging, and preparing incoming and outgoing SCI Nomination packages.
- Conduct annual SETA requirements in conjunction with the programs; provide security indoctrination, debriefings, pre/post Travel briefings and annual refresher briefings as necessary.
- Classified document & media control to include maintenance of logs tracking documents in transition.

In support of our customers, members of the team are responsible for providing all aspects of security support services such as, Security Management, Personnel Security (PERSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), Security Education and Training (SETA), Access Control, Media Control, Construction Security Management, and must have a Subject Matter Expert (SME) level of understanding of industrial security regulations and procedures, including experience administering provisions of the 32 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 117 NISPOM, DOD 5105.21 Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Security Manuals, andDOD 5205.07

National Pay Statement Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,400- $150,650.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $98,300- $170,315.
