As a Custom Protection Officer
  • Overnight Warehouse in Sparrows Point, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems as needed. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and contractor entry in accordance with site-specific procedures, maintaining accurate security-related documentation. Report hazards, equipment concerns, suspicious activity, and other security-related observations according to established protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
Must possess one or more of the following: Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch Associate's degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred. Have alarm panel experience preferred. Have access control and/or badge experience preferred. Have customer service experience preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
