We are looking for a Security Patrol candidate to join our team! This position is responsible for patrolling, observing and monitoring client properties while reporting any irregularities or safety concerns. The Security Officer is expected to complete reports that include recording observations, information, and surveillance activities in and around client facilities. The Security Officer ensures that our clients feel safe and secure while providing exceptional customer service. In this position, you will work closely with other Security Officers, local Police Departments, client staff, and guests. The Security Officer position requires excellent customer service skills, as you will be working with a diverse community. This position will use observational skills while responding to incidents and assisting other officers. There are additional training and future opportunities to expand your knowledge with the Patrol Division.

Pay Range:

$27.00-29.00 per hour based on experience.

Work Schedule:

Swing shift 1700-0300 or 1800-0400 (3) 10-hour shifts on with (3) days off. This allows for ample time off, including weekends.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year in security, or military or related experience highly desirable
• Complete background check and drug screening
• Maintain a current driver's license with minimal adverse record.
• Ability to comply with Security Guard Licensing requirements as instructed.

Working Conditions:

• Moderate noise (office settings and vehicle traffic).
• Lifting handling up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or 10 pounds frequently.
• Stand or sit must be able to remain in a stationary position 25-30% of the time.
• Ability to walk up to 1-2 miles per shift/day to patrol client properties.
• Ability to work outside as needed in all types of weather.
• Ability to be comfortable interacting with members of the public.

Essential Duties:

• Observes, patrols, monitors and controls access for client properties.
• Reports on safety and security discrepancies
• Dispatching of other Patrol officers and emergency response. Monitoring software, security burglary/fire panels
• Immediately respond to assist in the coordination of emergency incidents
• Communicates to clients and staff information appropriate for each situation.
• Maintains a balance of customer service, legal behavior and adherence to procedures while enforcing client rules and policies.
• Maintains required training certifications annually.
• Provides special escorts and inspections.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay:

$27.00 - $29.00 per hour
