8:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Monday-Sunday Coverage is needed throughout the week. Applicants must have open availability and be willing to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. We are currently seeking a dependable, professional Armed Security Patrol Officer to provide security services at a cannabis dispensary in Bangor, Michigan. Job Responsibilities As an Unarmed Security Patrol Officer, you will play an important role in protecting employees, customers, visitors, and property while maintaining a professional and visible security presence.Responsibilities include:
Conduct interior and exterior foot and vehicle patrols of the property. Monitor the premises for suspicious activity, unauthorized persons, safety hazards, theft, vandalism, or other criminal activity. Maintain a visible and professional security presence. Monitor and control access to the property when required. Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and security concerns. Observe and report suspicious or unusual activity. Assist with maintaining a safe and orderly environment for employees, customers, and visitors. De-escalate conflicts using professional communication and appropriate security procedures. Contact law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary. Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident reports. Communicate effectively with clients, employees, management, law enforcement, and emergency responders. Follow all EPG Security policies, client procedures, and applicable laws. Maintain a professional appearance and dependable attendance. Perform other security-related duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications EPG Security prefers applicants who have: Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience (preferred, but not required) Strong observation and situational-awareness skills Excellent communication and customer-service abilities Experience with CCTV or surveillance systems Knowledge of conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques First Aid and CPR certification (preferred) The ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods Reliable transportation A strong work ethic and dependable attendance Requirements Applicants must: Be at least 18 years of age . Be legally authorized to work in the United States. Be able to successfully pass a background check. Possess strong communication and report-writing skills. Have open availability. Be available to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Have reliable transportation to and from the work location. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
