Responsibilities Conduct thorough patrols of the premises using CCTV systems, physical security checks, and surveillance equipment to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards. Manage access control systems to authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with security policies. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies. Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other occurrences with clarity and accuracy for future review. De-escalate conflicts using conflict management techniques while maintaining professionalism and ensuring safety for all parties involved. Assist with loss prevention efforts by monitoring for theft or vandalism and implementing measures such as manual handling procedures and CCTV surveillance. Requirements Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields demonstrating knowledge of physical security practices. Valid CPL and able to pass a background check. Strong understanding of surveillance technology including CCTV systems and access control systems. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when required. Excellent communication skills with the ability to write comprehensive incident reports clearly and accurately. Knowledge of security regulations compliance standards relevant to the industry or location. Demonstrated ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.
