Clinton Township, MI Schedule:
Saturday through Wednesday with a combination of morning and afternoon shifts. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed. Position Overview Professional Security Consultants (PSC) is seeking an experienced and professional Security Supervisor to oversee daily security operations at a premier outdoor retail center in Clinton Township, Michigan. This leadership role is responsible for supervising Security Officers, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining a safe and secure environment, and serving as a liaison between property management and the security team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding security and customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise and support Security Officers during assigned shifts. Ensure compliance with all site policies, procedures, and post orders. Conduct foot and vehicle patrols throughout the outdoor shopping center. Respond to incidents, emergencies, and customer service concerns in a professional manner. Communicate significant incidents and emergencies to the Security Director in real time to ensure appropriate response, escalation, and client notifications are made. Complete incident reports, daily activity reports, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Assist with officer training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management. Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout the property. Coordinate with property management, law enforcement, fire personnel, and emergency responders when necessary. Ensure all posts are staffed and operating efficiently. Promote professionalism, accountability, and exceptional customer service within the security team. Qualifications Previous security supervisory experience required. High school diploma or GED required. Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Excellent report-writing and computer proficiency. Ability to remain calm, think critically, and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance record. Must be available to work a schedule consisting of Saturdays through Wednesdays with a combination of morning and afternoon shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed. Must possess a valid Michigan driver's license with a clean driving record. Security experience in a retail, commercial, or customer service-focused environment is preferred.
