Role:
Allegria Village, a senior living community in Dearborn, is hiring a Part-Time Gatehouse Security Attendant to help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This is a light part-time role scheduled two weekends per month (about 32 hours monthly) with both day and afternoon shifts available. What You'll Do:
Greet and log all visitors, residents, and employees Monitor gatehouse activity and help direct traffic on campus Complete daily logs and routine reports Conduct regular property rounds (buildings and grounds) Patrol campus to support a safe environment Respond calmly to emergencies, including medical situations Complete incident reports when needed Support leadership with additional safety and administrative tasks
What We're Looking For:
3+ years of experience in security, safety, customer service, or related work Strong communication and professionalism Ability to stay calm and make good decisions in stressful situations Comfortable writing reports and using basic computer systems (Microsoft Office) Dependable, observant, and detail-oriented Valid driver's license required (for patrol vehicle use) First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
