Part-Time / Full-Time (Flexible Hours Available) Job Description STT Security is seeking dependable, professional individuals to provide security services at an industrial facility located in Hemlock, Michigan. We are looking for team members who are reliable, punctual, and capable of working a flexible schedule. Security Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by conducting routine patrols, completing required hourly security checks, monitoring the facility, and following established site procedures in a timely and professional manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct regular hourly patrols and security checks throughout the facility. Follow all assigned security procedures and post orders. Complete required reports and documentation accurately. Observe and report suspicious activity, unsafe conditions, or security concerns. Respond appropriately to emergencies and notify the appropriate personnel. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing STT Security. Arrive to work on time and maintain dependable attendance. Work independently while exercising sound judgment. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Strong communication, observation, and decision-making skills. Ability to walk, stand, and perform routine patrols for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications Previous security experience is preferred but not required. Knowledge of first aid is preferred but not required. Military experience is preferred but not required. Computer literacy is required Prior law enforcement experience is preferred but not required. Reliable transportation to and from the Hemlock work site. Applicants must have a clean background MUST be able to pass a pre-employment drug test Physical Requirements Ability to walk and stand for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to perform regular patrols and inspections. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations.
