A Campus Security Officer provides security for property at university and school campuses. Monitors entrances and patrols buildings, watches for intruders or vandals; reports building maintenance problems; deals with customers or visitors that create a disturbance in the building.
School Security Officer We are seeking a vigilant and proactive School Security Officer to safeguard students, staff, and visitors within educational environments. This position involves maintaining a secure campus through vigilant surveillance, access control, and emergency response.

High school diploma or GED Clean background check Driver's license or State I.D. Strong communication and decision-making skills Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure Duties Monitor school premises and conduct regular patrols to identify potential security risks Control access points by verifying identitie checks on visitors and contractors Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies, including medical emergencies, conflicts, or security breaches Write detailed incident reports documenting any security concerns or occurrences during shifts Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or supplies Operate emergency response procedures including AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, CPR, and fire safety protocols Manage access control systems to ensure authorized entry while maintaining a secure environment Preferred Experience Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields highly preferred Training in first aid, CPR, AED use.
