Job Description

Position Available:
Part Time Unarmed Security Officer - 1st
Shift Schedule:
Thursdays and Fridays, 7:30am to 5:30pm, plus covering 1-2 meetings a week on 2nd shift at Emmet County Building in Petoskey, MI.
Wage:
$17.50/hour Now offering DailyPay service. Work today, get paid tomorrow!

Company Provided Training Primary Responsibilities:
Patrol assigned premises on foot or by vehicle to deter and detect signs of intrusion, unauthorized persons, or suspicious activity. Monitor security systems, alarms, and surveillance cameras. Control access to facilities by verifying identification and credentials. Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, providing assistance as needed. Document incidents, daily activities, and security irregularities in clear, accurate, and timely written reports. Enforce property rules and regulations professionally and courteously. Provide excellent customer service while interacting with employees, visitors, and the public. Assist in evacuations or other safety procedures in emergencies. Liaise with local law enforcement or emergency responders as necessary. Follow all company policies and procedures to maintain high standards of conduct and appearance.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior security or customer service experience preferred but not required. Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong observational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physically capable of standing or walking for extended periods. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You must pass a background check and any required licensing or training. The power to protect, a passion to serve!
