Project Turnabout is seeking a dependable and professional Overnight Security Officer to help maintain a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for patients, employees, visitors, and our Granite Falls campus.

Schedule:

Thursday - Sunday. 8:00pm - 4:30 am The Security Officer provides an overnight security presence, conducts routine rounds, responds to safety concerns, and assists staff during situations that may present a safety or security risk. Responsibilities Conduct and document hourly security rounds throughout the facility and grounds. Monitor for unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, unsecured areas, and safety hazards. Maintain a visible security presence throughout the campus. Respond to requests for assistance from the Medical Services Unit (MSU) and other patient care areas. Assist staff with patients experiencing agitation, escalating behavior, or other safety concerns. Use verbal de-escalation and a calm, respectful approach when responding to behavioral situations. Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security-related incidents. Assist with emergency procedures and contact emergency responders when necessary. Complete clear and timely documentation of rounds, incidents, and security concerns. Maintain patient, employee, and organizational confidentiality. Identify and report facility or environmental safety concerns. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Previous experience in security, law enforcement, corrections, military, healthcare security, behavioral health, residential treatment, or a related field preferred. Ability to remain calm and use good judgment in stressful situations. Strong communication, observation, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to work independently during overnight hours and collaboratively with other staff. Basic computer skills. Must obtain First Aid/CPR certification. Must meet Minnesota Department of Human Services background study requirements. Physical Requirements Must be able to walk and remain on your feet for extended periods, complete rounds throughout indoor and outdoor areas, and respond quickly to emergency or security situations. Physical intervention may only be performed when trained, authorized, and necessary according to Project Turnabout policy. Pay:

$19.23 - $22.60 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 per week
