Job Description
Now Hiring for a Security Officer at the Rice Memorial Hospital. As the Safety & Security Officer your main responsibilities would be monitoring and protecting hospital patients, employees, guests, and property, preserving the peace, preventing crime, and detecting and detaining violators of the law. Summary Responds to hospital emergency codes Frequently patrols parking lots and clinics in patrol squad Performs routine rounding on aggressive flagged patients or those at risk for security intervention Writes reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences Serves as a liaison for responding law enforcement agencies Trainings and certifications provided by the department Shift differentials offered for evening, nights, and weekends Tenured staff willing and eager to share their knowledge Schedule Part-time | 40 hours per two weeks Every other Wednesday through Sunday | 3:00PM to 11:30PM Pay and Benefits Starting pay begins at $24.21 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience.
