As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring environment through teamwork, professionalism, and integrity while responding to security-related concerns and assisting staff, patients, and visitors. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with facility policies, reporting unusual conditions and/or policy concerns. Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in alignment with Allied Universal and location procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Meet hospital vaccination requirements. Be willing and able to work in a hospital morgue. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age. Be willing and able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
