Job Description As a Security Officer Deterrence Patrol Driver in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to utility personnel, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, operational areas, administrative buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents.
Observe conditions that may affect facility operations or require attention, communicate concerns to appropriate personnel, and support continuity of site operations.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
