PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized individuals by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government corrections location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess an armed guard card or license. Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
