Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Access Patrol in Burlington, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a caring environment for patients, visitors, and staff while using technology to document activities and support daily operations. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and requesting additional assistance when needed. Assist with access control, visitor guidance, and traffic flow while maintaining a professional presence in patient-care and public areas. Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders.
Minimum Requirements:
Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
