Job Summary We are seeking a Data Security Delivery Lead / Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery, governance, and client engagement for enterprise Data Protection services. This role will manage delivery across multiple data security towers, ensuring operational excellence, SLA adherence, stakeholder satisfaction, and continuous service improvement. The ideal candidate will possess strong managed services delivery experience, data security domain knowledge, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a combination of delivery leadership, operational governance, and client relationship management.

  • In this role, you will:
  • Own end-to-end service delivery across Data Protection programs, ensuring adherence to SLAs, KPIs, quality standards, and client commitments.
  • Lead daily operational governance, including stand-ups, delivery reviews, incident management, and backlog prioritization activities.
  • Manage governance forums, stakeholder reviews, status reporting, and executive communications.
  • Coordinate delivery across Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), Cryptographic Services, and Data Masking teams.
  • Monitor operational metrics, service performance, utilization, capacity planning, and workload distribution across delivery teams.
  • Drive risk, issue, dependency, escalation, and change management processes to ensure successful program delivery.
  • Partner with client stakeholders to understand business priorities, address concerns, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Facilitate Agile delivery processes, sprint planning, backlog governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure operational compliance with security policies, governance standards, and service management practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance service delivery performance across the engagement. What you need to have to be considered
  • 10+ years of experience in IT service delivery, cybersecurity delivery, managed services, or program management roles.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale security, infrastructure, or managed service engagements.
  • Strong understanding of Data Security, Data Protection, DSPM, Cryptographic Services, Data Masking, or related security domains.
  • Experience with service delivery governance, SLA/KPI management, stakeholder engagement, and executive reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, Scrum practices, and backlog management processes.
  • Experience with ITIL service management processes, incident management, problem management, and change management.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, ServiceNow, reporting dashboards, and operational governance tools.
  • Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams, priorities, escalations, and competing business demands in a dynamic environment.
  • PMP, ITIL, Agile, SAFe, or related delivery management certifications are preferred.

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $[136,500 -160,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
