Job Description

Unarmed Security Officer Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; valid state security guard license/registration as required by local regulations Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, including outdoor and indoor environments Strong observational skills with the ability to detect and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations Clear verbal and written communication skills for incident reporting and interacting with staff, visitors, and the public Ability to remain calm and follow established procedures during emergencies or conflicts Reliable availability for scheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed Nice to have: Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, or loss prevention CPR/First Aid/AED certification Familiarity with access control systems, CCTV monitoring, or incident reporting software Bilingual communication skills
