PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and local law enforcement when needed. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and movement within restricted areas, verifying credentials and following post orders related to controlled entry, contraband awareness, and/or security-related protocols. Support Allied Universal standards by preparing clear reports, maintaining professional presence, and following all applicable instructions for equipment use, radio communication, and/or incident response.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
