At Cypress Glen you will serve in a beautiful physical plant that is second to none and a warm and sincere culture that is palpable from the moment you enter the community. We are currently seeking a full time security guard to work in cooperation with other team members in meeting the needs of the resident by performing the following duties: Guard property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry, along with assisting residents and visitors by performing the following duties: Respond to R-Cube alerts. Reset door tab flippers on third shift. Document flippers that were still in the up position. Periodically patrol buildings and grounds. Observe departing personnel to guard against theft of company property. Sounds alarm or call police or fire department by telephone in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons. Permit authorized persons to enter property. Record activities of the shift on appropriate form. Relieve the Front Desk Clerk for lunch and assist the desk clerk at other times when necessary. First Responder Duties Hours are 2nd shift
