Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Unarmed Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our facilities. This role involves monitoring premises, controlling access points, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and property. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or breaches Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity and detect suspicious behavior Control access points using electronic access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies following established procedures Write detailed incident reports documenting any unusual activities or security breaches Assist visitors and staff with directions or inquiries in a courteous and professional manner Perform background checks on new personnel as part of the onboarding process when required Support emergency response procedures including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols Manage conflict de-escalation situations with tact and professionalism to maintain a safe environment Ensure compliance with all security regulations and company policies during daily operations Experience Prior experience in security or law enforcement is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates Familiarity with surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and access control systems is preferred Knowledge of emergency response procedures including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety is advantageous Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for security purposes Strong communication skills for incident report writing, conflict management, and customer service interactions Background in military service or related fields can be beneficial due to experience with discipline and situational awareness Demonstrated ability to perform patrolling duties diligently while maintaining high attention to detail Join us as an Unarmed Security Guard and become an integral part of our commitment to safety!
