Job Summary Join our dynamic security team as a Security Officer! In this vital role, you will ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and assets by actively monitoring premises, managing access points, and responding swiftly to incidents. Duties Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and ensure perimeter security. Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors through verification procedures. Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or safety hazards. Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate tensions. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, and security checks for record-keeping and compliance purposes. Skills Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Background in law enforcement, military service, or security experience is highly desirable. Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and tact. Effective communication skills for clear reporting and interaction with team members and emergency responders.
