Pay Rate:

$17.75 We are currently hiring for the above hours. Specific workdays may vary and will be discussed during the interview process. Flexible availability is preferred. Valid North Carolina PPSB Security Guard Registration Required. Responsibilities Perform routine mobile patrols across designated sites, monitoring for suspicious activity or safety hazards Utilize access control systems to manage entry and exit points, verifying identities and authorizations Conduct CCTV surveillance and visual inspections to identify potential security breaches or safety concerns Respond promptly to emergency situations, including fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches, following established emergency response procedures Write detailed incident reports documenting observations, actions taken, and outcomes for each shift Operate security equipment such as Taser devices, AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), and fire extinguishers as needed during emergencies Manage conflict de-escalation techniques to handle difficult situations professionally while maintaining safety for all parties involved Experience Previous experience in security operations, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly desirable Familiarity with surveillance systems such as CCTV and access control systems Knowledge of emergency response procedures including CPR, first aid, AED operation, and fire safety protocols Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when required for equipment or incident management Proven skills in incident report writing with attention to detail and clarity Experience performing background checks or screening procedures is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally in diverse situations Join us in safeguarding environments through vigilant patrols and proactive security measures.
