As a Security Officer Patrol Access Specialist in Huntersville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring, agile, and reliable team culture while using integrity and teamwork to assist employees, visitors, and daily site operations in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions in accordance with site guidelines. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in alignment with location protocols. Support a professional environment at a technology-focused location by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
