PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, with attention to unusual activity and/or policy violations. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas. Support law enforcement and facility staff during investigations, alarms, medical events, and/or other security-related situations while following post orders and reporting protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A valid firearms permit is preferred. An armed guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
