AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to facility staff, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, and access points to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations. Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or personnel activity in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed. Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and designated site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. An armed guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
