As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Tillery, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a government location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following post orders and reporting protocols. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, verify credentials, and/or observe movement throughout the location to help support controlled entry and compliance with site rules. Document incidents, patrol findings, and/or unusual activity in required reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, client representatives, and/or local responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. An armed guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
