Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Armed & Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and visitors. This role involves proactive surveillance, access control, incident prevention, and emergency response. Whether armed or unarmed, you will play a vital part in maintaining a secure environment through diligent patrols, thorough reporting, and exceptional customer service. Your expertise in security protocols and ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism will help foster a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the facility using CCTV systems, surveillance equipment, and physical inspections to identify potential security threats or hazards. Manage access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or incidents by following established emergency procedures. Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or suspicious activities with clarity and accuracy. Perform background checks on new personnel as part of the onboarding or vetting process. Operate security equipment such as Taser devices, firearms (where licensed), AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), and fire extinguishers during emergency situations. Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with directions or inquiries while maintaining a secure environment. Enforce compliance with security regulations and company policies through vigilant monitoring and conflict de-escalation techniques. Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or supplies related to security operations. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies to ensure swift resolution. Experience Prior experience in security roles within corporate, industrial, military, law enforcement, or related environments is preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in surveillance techniques including CCTV operation and monitoring. Knowledge of emergency response procedures such as first aid (including CPR), AED operation, and fire safety protocols. Familiarity with security tools like access control systems, CCTV systems, Taser devices, firearms handling (where applicable), and incident report writing. Strong understanding of physical security measures including patrolling strategies and conflict management skills. Ability to perform background checks accurately while adhering to privacy regulations. Pay:

$17.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
