As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. AM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records. Screen and direct deliveries, vendors, and contractors in accordance with site procedures and applicable food production requirements. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and document events as required. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, the facility perimeter, and other designated areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements:
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
