Job Description
Security Guard patrols internal and external property, investigates unusual or suspicious situations, maintains records and logs as assigned, enforces the organization's procedures and regulations during and after normal work hours, and assists with and trains for emergency situations. Security Guard may operate firefighting equipment and handheld radios and will refer all dangerous situations or complex problems to local law enforcement. Must be at least 19 years of age Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred Experience in health care setting preferred Must possess interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively resolve hostile situations BLS preferred Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training required within the first year of employment Apply on Community Hospital website at chmccook.org - Click on Careers, then Apply Now!
