Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Security Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment through proactive surveillance, access control, incident management, and emergency response. Your commitment to excellence will help safeguard our clients' assets, property, and personnel while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance systems and perform regular patrols to deter unauthorized activity Control access points using advanced access control systems to verify authorized personnel and visitors Respond swiftly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or security breaches, following established protocols Write detailed incident reports accurately documenting any security concerns or occurrences Conduct background checks on potential employees or visitors as required by company policies Perform physical security duties such as heavy lifting, manual handling, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations Manage conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies to maintain a secure environment Skills Proficiency in surveillance technologies including CCTV and access control systems Knowledge of law enforcement procedures and emergency response protocols Experience with performing background checks and conducting security screenings Ability to operate fire safety equipment such as AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), CPR devices, Taser, and firearms where applicable Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally Skilled in incident report writing with attention to detail and accuracy Physical fitness for tasks involving heavy lifting, patrolling, and manual handling Familiarity with security regulations, fire safety standards, and compliance requirements Join us as a Security Officer to play a vital role in protecting people and property while enjoying a rewarding career in a fast-paced environment.
